Metal Roof in Westford, MA

We had an asphalt shingle roof that was time to go. Not leaking (yet) but lots of wear, moss, algae, streaking, etc. We initally reached out to a competitor at the same time as ECMR and both sent us a list of nearby addresses to look at work they've done in person. DO THIS STEP. Pictures cannot compare to what it looks like driving down the street. We found the competitors product to look kind of plasticy & cheap, and almost reconsidered aluminum shingles. We went to look at homes ECMR had done, and their product looked so much cleaner & more expensive (hint: it wasn't). Andrew from ECMR was awesome. Not salesy or pushy. Honest and straight-forward. Came out in the summer heat to walk the property and address some support issues that existed in the attic, all while being covid-cautious. Was not the cheapest estimate, but found issues during the walk-around that the other guys wouldn't have been able to see since they didn't come out to the property (estimated by drone footage). Andrew kept us up to date via text on where we were with the process (materials are coming, any issues, dumpster coming, etc) which is super helpful... I'm a millenial, don't call me on the phone. Whole project was done in about 3 days, and the guys were conscious about cleaning up each day, and more-so where the kids play. The final day was a bit rushed in the clean-up department, but I get it & they were one guy down. Overall- from an excellent product to constant communication and a great job, we'd recommend them to anyone considering a metal roof. It's pricey, I'm not going to lie. But it's so worth it to never have to worry about it again (plus the discounted home insurance & lower utility bills help).
