I am so happy we called East Coast Metal Roofing. Ian was fantastic. A real person. He wasn’t gimmicky or pushy.

Review from the Homeowner
We had East Coast Metal Roofing come out for a consult for the very old house we just purchased. Our consultant was scheduled to come out on a Monday but as life goes, one of our kids got a stomach bug so we asked to reschedule to Wednesday. Wednesday comes and god knows what else is going down around here and we push our consult out to Friday. Friday comes and our rep, Ian, is set to come by around 4:30. Friday night going into a long weekend… Ian runs into 2 separate car accidents on his way here. At this point we’re calling it quits and will try again some other time. It’s just not meant to be. But Ian persevered and made it to our home just before dark to take all his measurements and photos and what have you. Once he sat down and calculated a price for us - we were actually blown away by the numbers Ian was giving to us. We were bracing for $100k+ for just the basics! Now, since we know this metal roof is much more affordable than we thought, we wanted to get fancy. Why not? My dream roof would be black and have copper flashing that would age to that beautiful green patina. Copper, of course, is insanely expensive. But guess what? Ian calls up his manager Kyle and asks about my request. Kyle is like “heck yeah I know what you’re talking about and I have a custom color I think you’ll love.” Ian quickly brings up a website and shows us “Pacific copper” and bam. We’re sold. Lock in the numbers. Unfortunately the wifi sucks at our new, very old home. Usually Ian would upload all the info he took into a thing and it would show us the exact costs on the spot. So it’s 8pm at this point and we feel so bad. Ian has to drive back to RI to get home. But Kyle gets on the phone again and they do the numbers manually and the final locked in price was music to our ears. I am so happy we called East Coast Metal Roofing. Ian was fantastic. A real person. He wasn’t gimmicky or pushy. The whole process was actually pretty fun. 10/10 would have Ian come talk metal roof with us again 👍🏼 (Also we are so excited for our custom roof!! It’s going to be so cool!)
